Matt Shapiro is an up & coming indie musician who produces atmospheric type pop-rock (similar to Coldplay and U2 stylistically). Matt recently hosted a 99designs contest for a design of an album cover that he described as “cinematic” in his desires for style.

He was looking for an interpretative blend of photography and otherworldly forms, while also evoking a certain simplicity that would draw viewers to his future music. After considering some ideas and using movie themes as an inspiration (along with photography provided by the client, Matt Shapiro), I designed this prospective album cover for his album, “Meta Physical”
