Actions Speak Louder is more than just an album, more than a mantra, more than any one entity. The project has been on my mind for quite some time now and finally culminated with the creation of the “Actions Speak Louder” logo as a central piece.

The “Actions Speak Louder” logo brings together many central elements of past logo designs but also signifies (among other things) a forward direction for yours truly. Re-Invented (and other projects from 2013 and 2014) employed a lot of hand drawn lines. While I don’t plan to completely abandon that approach, it was refreshing to use only vector outlines to create the crisp feel and appearance for my newest logo.

Everything from the stark blacks and whites, the target bullseye in the lettering, as well as the tight spacing between the letters speaks to an inner focus that will continue to get stronger as the year continues and as opportunities present themselves. Of course, at the end of the day, Actions Speak Louder.
