Block-Busted 3 : Triple Feature Logo

The logo which would end up representing my 9th production went through many revisions and other options before I decided to go with this particular one. No matter what the final version ended up looking like, I knew only that I wanted it to be hand drawn, with subtle elements of digital enhancement, but the reason I opted for the hand-drawn route was simply because I wanted there to be more than a “perfect”, clean digital logo presenting the film. The film isn’t nessecarily about how perfect life and art can be, but rather how chaotic things can be, especially when factors don’t gel together. The end result is the somewhat bland, somewhat vibrant logo, bearing the qualities of that which it represents for all to behold.

Other versions (pictured below would experiment using more or less blue coloring, but I felt the end result was too cartoony, and the logo was going to be displayed on a moving black and white background, so the lighter color scheme helps it maintain readability within the video space it is living.
