Fancy graphics, colors, lines, patterns, textures and the like are nice, but type is the basis of the majority of Graphic Design. Working with type was one of the first things I was exposed to in, and for good reason. Type integration can be  tricky but mastery of it produces some striking designs with purpose and intent.

Here are some of my early works, simply using type to represent space, scale, strength, playfulness and tension.
