For the 2012 senior exhibition at Eastern Connecticut State University, one of my classes designed a promotional postcard and poster to invite people to the exhibit. With a tagline of “Challenge Accepted”, I crafted what I consider to be one of my strongest works. The combination of hand drawn and rendered graphics make this a favorite of mine and the use of irony, featuring an overly stressed college student (because face it, who hasn’t been there before?) make it a sort of unexpected expression of a “confident” artist at work.
